    Hello out there,
I'm an owner of a 1984 Honda VF500 living in germany. It runs awesome, except for the issue I will post in the mechanics forum.

The rule in Germany is the same as here in the U.S. and that is WITHOUT PICTURES THE BIKE DOES NOT EXIST !!!! LOL!

Is this a new bike to you or have you had it for a while? What is the mileage and overall condition??

To make this thread a little bit more worthy I attached a pic of my VF500 . It has a black paint job done before I got it.
it has 45.000 km kilometerage (approximately 28.000 miles) - overall condition is pretty ok I think. If it runs it's running smooth and is an awesome bike for doing turns. I don't what the max speed is - the fastest I got since now was 160 kmh (100 mph) but there is some torque left.
It's a new bike for me - I just got it from the mechanic and had the tüv done (a biyearly technical inspection needed in germany). I only rode it for 200km (app. 120 miles) till now, because of the technic woes.

Well congratulations on your new toy. Are you planning on keeping her black or are you considering going back to factory colors??

I like it in black. Pull the mirrors off and it looks like it drove right off the set of Mad Max.
