    am thinking bout doin the f2 wheel conversions on my vf500, is there any benefit of fitting the f2 forks as well? do u need to change the yokes?

    The CBR600F2 forks are shorter than the stock VF500F forks and the clearance between the front wheel's fender and the radiator is an issue that has been debated on this forum (take a look through the previous posts).

    From what I have read the tolerances are too tight.

    thanx mate, anyone know if u can use fireblade wheels or do they need to be cbr600 f2

    A roundabout answer:

    Not sure about a Honda Fireblade rim - I haven't heard of using these for a VF500F 17" wheel conversion.

    For reference, the front rim on the CBR600F2 conversion needs to be machined (CBR600F is fine as is) to allow the stock VF500F rotors to align with the calipers. Also keep in mind your max. tire widths and that with the F2 conversion you will need to discard the stock centerstand (not a deal breaker but something to consider).

    Yes, the 17" CB600F and CBR600F2 rims both work. Both require machining of the rear sprocket carrier. The 'F' uses the CBR600F carrier the 'F2' uses the VF500F carrier.
