FYI, Sportmotogear.com has the Powerbronze shield for $39.88 on sale.

I also have this screen. Comparing it to the stock: 1) I can't detect an aerodynamic difference 2) it is thinner, lighter, and less substantial 3) It uses only two hold down bolts instead of the OEM's 4 bolts 4) it looks fine, but appearance is a "preference"

bottom line, I put the OEM screen back on.

6'2" and I got the Givi touring screen as a Christmas gift from my bro. It's AWESOME and makes the bike look CLASSY! Moved the wind completely off my torso and plants it at forhead level. I can't tell you how much more relaxed hiway cruising is! It's a keeper! I have stock handlebar configuration on my 2006 VFR. I would assume bar risers would only make it more comfy than it already is!

I have a 2008 with Heli Bars. I am 6'0" and perfer to be more up right. Does anyone have any windscreen recomendations for that height and bar set up ? I would like to het the wind over the top of the helmet if it can be done.

I am 6' even, even with the oem bars back when, and my Givi Touring Screen, I got wind thrown into the center of my facemask....that's were the bug line always formed around dusk on back country roads! I want to say a positive no about a screen that puts it completely over your head. If you go that route, honestly, you'll completely lose your handling response/tossability, speaking from experience on the bubbleboy project some of the members here remember...lol

I'd have to agree with BASFjon on this. I had a 20" Rifle windscreen on my 2003 Yamaha FZ-1. While it was good for around town, on the hiway it caused a negative pressure bubble and my head started to bobble. Again, I am 6'2" and I have the Givi, which I consider to be the tallest of the replacement windscreens. It does a great job of putting the wind in the face, not the torso, but it's a clean blast that doesn't cause me any trouble at speed. My helmet takes the wind from it in stride with no fatigue issues. Go with the Givi and I am sure you'll be happy.

DSC_0149.jpg DSC_0285.jpg DSC_0284.jpg I purchased a (red) DB Puig for my 2007 RWB. I think the red is a match for the bike. I'm short at 5 foot 7, this made a huge difference for me. No helmet bobble up to 105 mph. I heard noises in my helmet I had never heard, at low speeds too.. Riding without a helmet at low speeds, considerable difference too. The OEM shield put everything right in my face. If interested, I'll post pictures. I put a VFR logo sticker on the nose (small white one). Chris, You were right... Those noises were voices.
