    Hello all,
new to the world of the VFR, just picked up a 98 VFR800, 8500 miles, for $4200. the bike is very clean, as is usually the case, the previous owner was an "older" gentlemen who deff took care of it. the bike is stock with the exception of a tank Bra.

Looking for a pipe for my Stock VFR, wanna hear that V-four sound.
other than the usual TBro's, StainTuned & Micron, which most VFR owners use, i was wondering what peoples experience was with Jardine, i have personally never owned one.
hows the build quality, sound etc?

many thanks in advance for any response!
    cheers

This is the same pipe that came with my '98 when I bought it a couple of years ago. It's got a deep, throaty sound to it, which I love. I've never had anything else on the bike, so not sure how to compare it for you, though.

As for build quality, how do you determine that? It's always worked and has never fallen off the bike or anything since I've had it, so I guess it's okay enough for me.

i have the jardine rt-one now and i just gutted the packing out of it cuz i like that nasty loud sound lol. i had a micron oval can that i gutted too but i screwed that up messin around with it at work.. anyway...i do somewhat regret getting the jardine b/c they use stainless steel for the ends but polished aluminum for the can. and its riveted...that made it a pain to unpack....so if i ever have to get another can it will definitely be micron again...
