Fortunately, I have been able to get a few scoots in during the past few days on my new Viffer (new to me, that is). I absolutely love the bike! It's fast, beautiful, and nimble. However, I've noticed a lot of noise and wind smacking into my helmet at highway speed. I've taken into account that upstate New York has been unseasonably cold (sorta) and windy, but I'm still interested in what taller windscreens have to offer. I've heard that Zero Gravity has the Sport touring and Double Bubble windscreen and Givi has a few as well. So any advice or information on taller windscreens would be appreciated. Especially if I can get some feedback from riders who are of similar height as myself. Thanks
You should check out another thread here, comparing the different windscreens. >>> VFR World - Windscreen Comparison <<<
6'2" and I got the Givi touring screen as a Christmas gift from my bro. It's AWESOME and makes the bike look CLASSY! Moved the wind completely off my torso and plants it at forhead level. I can't tell you how much more relaxed hiway cruising is! It's a keeper! I have stock handlebar configuration on my 2006 VFR. I would assume bar risers would only make it more comfy than it already is!
