Really sorry, glad you are ok, especially if you totaled the bike and not injured badly. I'm sure a new bike is near, thanks for the post it keeps riding real, shit does happen.

 

Thats it!!! im not riding until 2010 is over!! too many bikes have gone down recently!! just kidding, i'll still ride, and hope you will continue riding too, but would understand if you dont.

As others have said, the only important thing is that you are okay. Screw the bike, it can be fixed/replaced.

Man that sucks twice. 1st, is the accident and second, that this is your first post here and its about the accident. Glad your ok.

 

Glad to hear your OK and walked away from it. Bikes can be fixed or replaced so that is most important. Two questions and hopefully you answer yes to both, Did she have insurance? and did the Police charge her with a anything?

 

As others have said, the main thing is that you are Ok.

Welcome to the World. Sorry to hear about your adventure. I am new to riding relatively so have 47+ years of driving a car and or truck behind me. Why is it I have never come close to having a collision with a bike, and rarely with other vehicles? Cause a look at where the fug I am going.

How in hell can someone not see a bike. The bike lights have come on automatically for years before even daytime running lights were mandatory here in Canada. Simply put, someone was driving without focusing the necessary attention to their driving. I know of no jurisdiction that does not have an offence that covers this and it is usually an offence that carries a stiff penalty.

Are the police looking at possible charges here? And regardless of that, like Jasonsmith said, make the bitch pay for a new bike, and any other damages you can get from her.
