I have an '06 and replaced the stock windscreen with a double bubble. I love it. Would do it again without a doubt. I am 6' even...

Your best bet is to search through this site and see what works for others who are close to the same height as you. Even then you may not get the right one. I'm 6'1" and I sit upright on the bike. I've tried the Zero Gravity DB, ST, and SR. The SR (stock replacement) works best for me, the others cause more buffeting. I've been seeing a lot of post about cutting down the stock screen to reduce wind noise, so I cut 2.25" off the top of my SR and the wind noise is far worse! So I'm back to my OEM Honda screen until I can afford an MRA Vario.

I bought my 04 with a Puig Sport touring windscreen. I'm 5'10" and sit upright and the wind/buffeting almost pulls my helmet off. I've been looking at taller screens and the laminar lip (looked cheesy on one bike I saw) but after hearing abnviffer's response regarding dble bubble, maybe moving air AROUND me is better than OVER me. Thoughts?

I'm 6'1", replaced my 2001 stock screen with a zero gravity ST model. I notice less buffeting, but not to the degree that it was worth the $$. It altered the "quality" of the windblast? yet still hit me in the neck for some reason. Maybe it was that it may have shifted the impact area up only an inch and reduced low pressure noise coming from the bottom of the helmet. I dunno. But yeah, the only benefit really noticeable was the dark screen looked better on the bike..... but not $70 better. I should have spent the $$ toward front springs.

This thread regarding windscreens exceeds the quality of others thus far as we've all mentioned our heights. Previous threads I searched had little to no info on the riders height when giving a review.

Broke down and bought a Zero Gravity Touring screen (ZG Outlet - $70; great service, fast delivery)
Installed in 5 mins, rode and ... what a difference! Less turbulence, no "pushing your helmet off your head" air knife across the throat - Love it!

Good to hear the ST works for you rockrichards. It seems like those of us who are above 6' tall don't get as much of an improvement as you did. I still want to try an MRA vario, but after that I give up.

I got my Zero Gravity screens from ZG Outlet too. Occasionally they have blems for about $50 each.

well. my ZG came, except that it's NOT a ST but a SR. A mistake by the seller and he's cool enough to gimme full refund and let me keep the screen. So now I have a free ZG SR.

put it on and rode for about 20 miles on the I-880. it's awesome... definitely a step-up from the stock screen. i still want to find a good deal on the ST but if i can't, i will live happily with my SR too!
