    Hello, hello.

I'm Brent G. from Canada and I can hardly wait to get on my first motorcycle ever (even though I have had a Majesty 400 cc scooter for this Summer).
I just know there is nothing like your first bike. I've taken the course and am very ready.

I'm 50 it's amazing it took me this long.

    Brent

Congats on your purchase and welcome aboard.

Im sure lots of people here have some good points on what to look out for when your new to bike riding.
And how to look after your bike and what aftermarket accessories and gear to get.

Ive had a few really good tips that have helped me out.

Also from Canada and I picked up my Pearl White VFR on Monday.
Brought it home in my truck cause it was snowing like a bitch and now I have to
winterize a bike I have never rode  . Had to shovel the driveway just to unload it LOL.

    Snow plow in Birmingham, AL

Ratfink, we used to need a Snowplow in Birmingham, AL; but they never replaced the mule that pulled it when it died in 1901!:caked:

    Welcome

Brent G. -- that's my dad's name -- and if I didn't know you were 50 I might suspect you to be him! You see, he just turned 72 this past week and, after prohibiting me from riding in my youth, he recently confessed he was "wrong" and not only should he have let me ride sooner (I married a woman whom it took 17 years to convince as well -- I started riding fulltime at 40) he now wishes he could ride!

Take it easy on that throttle... a VFR 800 is alot of bike for a first-time rider especially crossing over that VTEC threshold!

    Happy riding!!!
