    Hey everyone,

I haven't been on this forum for several years, ever since I sold my 91 vfr750f in 2003. But I'm back with another one. This time I got an 86 vfr750f given to me. Mind you the bike was tore up pretty bad, all the fairings are wasted, the electrical was chopped up, and the carbs were all dissasembled. I also seem to be missing the air box. But after putting it all together I did manage to get it started and making noise, but I can't figure out where the vacuum lines on the carbs go. I know that there is a hose that connects number 2 and 4 and another that connects 1 and 3, plus one on the left side of 1 plus the air tubes in between the carbs. If any one knows what these attatch to I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks all for the help

The large hose in the center that connects to the plastic cross tubes is just a vent and is to be left open. The others can be capped off and just remove the rest of the mess.California bike I assume so each carb has one port near the manifold boot and the left rear has one extra between the carb and frame. Just cap off and go.

Sweet.. I guess that explains why I was able to start it up with them all capped, that makes things so much easier. Thanks for the help.
