Hi, I am new to the forum and new to the Interceptor. I will be picking up 2 1984 Vf1000f's this weekend for a total of $200. Both need some love one of them runs and the other was bought as a parts donor bike. The owner thought the donor had sucked a valve and destroyed the engine but after doing some reading I think that it had a cam go down. I know they are old but, I think it will be a good project and will be a great commuter/fun bike for me when I'm done.

Got the girls home today and got one of them running.:party2: But the bad news is the tank with the good paint (red white and blue) was rusted out to the point of leaking so I had to put a all white tank on instead. I really wanted to keep the best looking tank but hey whatever runs.
