Do any CBR mirrors directly fit on a 6th Gen VFR? I have a busted right mirror and see a good deal on a pair of CBR mirrors. From the pictures they look like the same mirrors, but I'm not sure. CBR600 F4/F4i 1999-2006 (not 600RR), VFR800 2000-2008 IT's looking like the CBR600 F4i (not rr) will fit 6th gen VFR's. I'd just like confirmation if possible before ordering.
the RR mirrors won't, my friend has an 06 and 07 rr. the RR mirrors are like the gsxr mirrors. as for the F4, im not sure, this is what i found Google Image Result for http://www.motorcycle-spares.com/images/SP1.jpg so the cbr 600f fits them
the mounts are teh same, just the foot of the mirror looks different check this out, the RR is listed as fitting the vfr800 Google Image Result for http://www.whaccessories.com/images/BernieMirrorExtensionsCBR1100x.jpg
Thanks for the links! That's about in line with what I had found; that the F4i mirrors would work but the RR's weren't as good of a match.
The F4i mirrors looks the same, but I think they are shorter. I don't have my F4i anymore, but my buddy has one if you want me to confirm.
I just checked out the F4i mirrors. The bases and heads appear to be the same, but the stems are different. They're about an inch shorter and they angle down much more.
