Hey all, I'm new here, and I'm shopping for a bike to replace an aging hayabusa. I've found a 2006 VFR with 10k on it and am considering picking it up once the old one is sold. Is there anything I should be warned about that model year before I make the guy an offer?

The 06 was no more problem plagued than any other VFR. 2 things to be aware of...Honda regulator/rectifiers are not the most reliable, and the vtec kicking in at around 6500 rpm takes a little getting used to.
Welcome aboard and good luck on your next motorcycle.

Tell me, how much different is the riding position on a VFR compared to a busa? I'm not that good at leaning over anymore, my neck cant take the strain, although my chiropractor doesnt seem to mind. I want to be sure a VFR really is that much more comfy like people say. thx.

I reckon find one to sit on and possibly a dealer who would let you take one for a test ride.
It's all fair and well that someone else finds the bike comfortable and says that they can ride across the continent happily in that riding possition, but their idea of comfortable could be far from what suits you.
