    Hello All,

I recently just got my VFR put back together with all her new parts. I have attached some pics. I have added... Heli bars, K&N air filter, PAIR valve block off plates, Snorkle removed, "flapper mod", Leo Vince cans, w/ Delkevic catless header, PC3 USB With custom Map, Hel brake and clutch lines, EBC Wave rotors and HH pads, Blue ZG DB screen, Fender eliminator kit, Honda Hard bags, I also painted the wheels peral white to match the bike, + misc billet and polishd parts. It made 102.4 RWHP and 55.5 RWTQ. I am very happy with the way it turned out. Now all I need is some nice weather.....

That bike is looking sweet Gimpy. :hail:

I had a dark blue windscreen installed on my old RWB '86 VFR700. It looked awesome!
Your bike is the only other RWB VFR I've ever seen that runs that dark blue windscreen.
The look is positively stunning and it's such a no brainer that you wonder why you rarely ever see anyone using it.:noidea:

I hear you on the nice weather thing. We actually had sunny 65 degree weather on Wednesday, but than this IS Wisconsin.
I woke up this morning and there was snow on the ground.
(Heavy Sigh.....) Welcome to the Frozen Wastelands of Wisconsin.

That gold on your front brake discs look much brighter than mine. Did you do something there?

I love the white wheels on the RWB's, +1 on the blue screen, really finishes off the bike nicely.

    Gimpy,
Your bike looks like what Honda should have built..I still can't believe Honda did not make that RWB with white wheels! You need to give us a proper evaluation of your brake system upgrade, is it BETTER, worth the money, ect? By the way why is your name Gimpy?

As a person who hates cleaning wheels - especially front wheels between the two front disks at the hub... I am glad the wheels are a flat black.... but you can just call me lazy.

I will be happy to give you a better evaluation of the brakes as soon as I get to use them. So far the only trip I have taken on the bike was to the shop for the dyno tuning, and the trip home was in the rain. I can tell you for sure that all of the "squishy" feel in the lever is gone. I really like that. To me that alone is worth the money. From what I can tell so far, The wave rotors did seem to make the stering response easier/faster. When I get a chance to play with it more I will let ya know.

As for the name Gimpy, In 98 a girl in a car ran a stop sign and hit me on my bike. My right leg was severed just below the knee and surgically reattached. My friends started calling me thet after I got out of the hospital and it stuck.
