Electric problems!

    Hi,i am your vfr friend from Greece!I have a big problem!At first sorry for my english!Yesterday i started my bike!The lights worked perfectly but the turn lights and the horn didn't work at all!I read the owner's manual and i saw that the horn and the turn lights are connected to the same fuse!But i checked the fuse and it was ok!I also checked the wiring behind the left panel for burned wiring but it was ok!can you advise me please what to check next in simple english please?

    has it been sitting a long time? check the connections in the left handle bar assembly for corrossion.....

    huh ....I guess the main plug is on the right.....but be sure to check all your plugs in that case...good luck

    Lets see what i did and i didn't find a solution

    -check all the fuses
    -check the wiring behind the left pannel
    -check the little wires under the left and right handlebar

    but the problem still remains

    Sit down and study the wiring diagram for those circuits carefully.....you might get an idea where else to look.

    What year is your bike ??

    I know you said you "checked" the wires under the right bar switch assembly but did you take a good look. Take the connectors off, look at the connections where the wire go in, feel and see if they are secure, make sure they aren't shorting on anything. Sometimes just looking at electrical problems isn't enough, you need to dig a little bit. Is your brake light working?
