Well...not sure where to start. Basically I've been a bit of a lurker on your boards for a little bit. I'm up in Ontario Canada and recently had an 88 Chev Silverado up for sale or trade for a quad, dirt bike or street bike. So I get a response from a gentleman with a trade offer....

...we felt it was an equal trade, the bike was recently restored by the previous owner and I think he did an excellent job. Carb's had a second stage jet kit installed, aftermarket pipe and turn signals. Now if I could just get my legs back under me! I haven't been on a bike in 12 years!! I hope you won't mind me bugging for help and information!

Usually the 1st and 2nd gen. forum is one of the more active boards around here. Hard to keep up with it sometimes.
So if you've got any questions just ask. There's plenty of guys and gals still running those old beauties.

Thanks guys. Not sure about the oil line mod. I haven't had a chance to really look at her yet. I've read a little on the board here about a cam oiling problem. How would I tell if it's had the mod done?
