I can never seem to get them back in the original way and snap the bag shut!

Any ideas appreciated - getting ready for a 4600 mi trip from Colorado to NH and back.

    Thanks fellers,

    Marc

the snap busted on my tool kit (it's the orignal from 1987) so I really can't offer much there... but my suggestion would be take the tools out, lay em out, and basically play tetris til ya find a way that works for ya

All the big stuff in first, then pack the smaller stuff in around it. Screwdriver tips and such will fit inside the plug socket, conserving room in the bag.

Find a neighbor who is a Rubic's Cube expert, or find a little Japanese guy to do it for you.

By the way, I got mine repacked, but the case is about to burst at the seams and the snap is stretched to the limit. It's especially fun to repack this on the side of the road, in a torrential downpour, with a swarm of mosquitoes attacking viciously (ask me how I know).

Hold empty bag so flap is on the bottom then follow the instructions below
    1. Install flat chain adjuster on bottom of bag
    2. Install screwdriver tip in handle of chain adjuster
    3. Install chain adjuster into right side of bag
    4. Install spark plug tool in left side of bag
    5. Install pliers in center of bag
    6. Install screwdriver handle on left side between spark plug tool and pliers
    7. Install in seal a meal device and remove all air creating a vacuum.
    8. close cover and snap in place

When asked if the cup is half full, or half empty.... my answer would be "neither, it's the wrong size cup".
    Get a bigger bag.........

Thanks all; especially SLOVFR. As you guys can tell, I don't get on this new-fangled internet thingie too often. Your advice was much appreciated. I'dve posted pics of the trip, but something got jacked up downloading them from the camera to the computer. I'm especially bummed I lost The Picture of the bike parked in the midst of one of those giant wind turbine fields.

On a positive note, I just got my seat back from Sargent and it's grrrreat! One more month and the sand should be washed off the roads.

    Peace.

Even though you down loaded the pic's to the computer.... They should still be in your camera.... Unless your PC is set to delete your camera at completion of download.... If so change it before you do that again....... You never know if you'll have to go back to the camera later.... You can delete them from the camera later, when you know for sure everything went well....
