The best advise I can give is from personal experience. I was young and almost killed myself several times trying to learn how to "ride" a wheelie. Gave up and just rode for a season and it came to me all on its own.Same thing with shifting in a wheelie......it will happen all on its own in due time. Do not try to fight it.I have looped a gen 2 and it sucked with such a vacuumous force that it could not be measured by Hoover.Riding and shifting in a wheelie is throttle control and only time on the job can bring it.I will shut the fuck up now.

yeah. and then you are on your back.

    Thread hijack ahead.

My first bike, when I was around 14 years old.
It was a honda 1970 ish. Little 70 cc motor, but it was more setup like a streetbike then a dirtbike. Liscence plate and everything. Not like the newer ( then that ) enduro style bikes. This looked like a mini cb bike.
I worked and saved all summer for that motorbike. I finally got it, and hells yes I was a reckless rider.
between 12 to 15 years old, I really didnt have a grasp on my mortality like I do now. Blessing and a curse brethren.
Anyways, The neighbor's daughter... we will cal her "bonnie". Cause, well thats her name.
She had the hugest set of knockers, and I had a secret crush on her for at least 6 months, and that was a long time back then.
I got my new bike ( new to me ) and I was in her driveway revving the piss out of it. Like that kid in bad news bears. And she was EXTREMLY impressed. I was like, "im gnna score with this chick now!"
and then the clutch cable snapped.
Now, gentleman.. that is how to do a wheelie.
that fuckin bike wieghed so much when it landed right on top of my chest and lungs.
RIght on my back with a bike that outwieghed me on top. miracle I survived. hehe.
Long story short, me and bonnie didnt work out.
    LOL
    /end thread hijack.

Actually I bought the bike because I love automobiles. I have been a gear head every since I was young, and after last year when I got out of my internship, I had a bunch of extra cash and decided to get a bike. I learned very well how to ride. Started slow, took the back roads, learned all the proper techniques, what to look for, how to turn around, how to pick the bike up if it were on its side. I have had the whole bike torn down and put back together, and have many miles and hours on it now in a short period of time. I know how to ride the bike, and I only wanted to do a wheelie for the thrill. I dont like riding around people so they can see me so I can get some action from girls.
