    I use regular grade gas and it runs great. The bike is designed for regular, using premium has zero advantage.

    I am just wondering why my '07 VFR only requires 87 octane, while my '04 Acura TL requires 91 premium? Both are V-Tec Honda engines with 11ish to 1 compression. I also have a '98 Corvette with 10-1 compression that requires 91 octane.

    Does the VFR have a knock sensor?

    I just got the bike, so am just learning here.
