All this rear entry stuff kind of has me thinking about what you guys are really up to. Are you sure you don't have Harleys?

Keep up that nutcase stuff. It's great. Anyone who has taken Psych 101 will enjoy it once or twice and then start scratching their heads wondering why you aren't being chased by the guys with the big nets.

KC must have a Harley or Buell although I didn't see him mention that here but I do see him posting at BadWeB now & then.

So which Buell do you have?

I think I have it...Yamaha WR250X Supermoto. A basic bike with high tech components. FI and a 6 speed transmission. You're welcome.

Are you mental? I don't own a single thing that says HD on it.

I appreciate your kind thoughts, but I just don't ge the whole Super Moto thing. You end taking away all the usefullness of a dual purpose bike & make it a "Race Bike"? Doesn't make sense to me.

That John Deere Boss Hoss is too funny. If there was ever proof that you simply can't underestimate the stupidity of the average consumer, this would be it.

    KC-10 FE out...

    LOL

If someone explains why, be careful ol KC doesn't roll up one of those magazines he reads and gives whoever does this, a shot upside the head.

We could start with a whisper that there are all sorts of racing. I hear that some folks even race Harleys. Hard to believe I know..

    Supermotos

A friend of mine has a Honda XR650R with a set of wheels with knobbies and a supermoto set of wheels. In supermoto trim, it is his urban warrior machine. When he wants dirt, he swaps wheels. Different sprocket gearing for the different applications. On the track, the lightweight supermotos are able to take some unreal lines through tight turns that heavier sportbikes (like 600cc) just can't do.

Delran is about 25 miles from Maguire AFB..Both are near Ft. Dix so the proximity factor is there. C&P a couple of posts. The writing style will not differ much.

well, in an effort to be mercyful, all I wanted to know "was" what Buell did he have,, It says 2008 1125R over there. It only struck me when I read a couple of "his" posts,, cause
I remember your "KC-10 FE" stating in "Counter Steering / Cross Controlling" topic a while back "here" that he had, "ridden Buells and hated them".

I just wanted to know what changed his mind, thinking that maybe it was the "fun factor" that the 1125 has to the vast majority of the Buell riders.

On the other hand, talking like the almighty is going to draw attention,, just maybe the kind of attention you don't want.

KC, I'm glad you mentioned considering an older CB in good condition. Those old standards are a blast to ride and fairly reliable. And if it sucks , sell it and try something else.

From the above posters, those new CB1100s look great! I wouldn't mind having one of those!

Hey KC10, Another example of how the m/c industry sucks, with regard to the ZRX1200. Discontinued in the states in 04-05, Kawi redesigned it with 6-spd and FI, while maintaining similar styling. I had an 01 that I rode for years and enjoyed very much, very hooligan! But as I got older, the less I want to do with maint. b/c i have more things on my plate. Carb adjusting is a young man's activity (at least IMO). But if this bike came to US shores, I would trade my Z1k for it (traded my ZRX for the Z!)

Ol KC "hates" a whole bunch of things. I'm glad he is not "the almighty" I would hate to get zapped by a lighning bolt if I was on my BMW with it's shaft drive. He hates those too..

Buell may resurface. Eric Buell is not only a very sharp guy he is well liked in the industry. HD screwed up from the time Bluestein bailed out with 43 mil in stock options and have been sliding downhill ever since. I can envision a "new" Buell with all those engineering bits and a non HD engine being a real asskicker of a bike.

Wish I'd had the scratch to buy a Buell 1125R when the HD shops were practically giving them away. Timing is everything. Sigh...
