Okay this is a perfect example of needing a general use section.

Is this supposed to replace the 999? If so, does this thing fall in line with WSB rules on displacement?

Like all Ducati super bikes, this thing looks like an ass-toasting torture rack.

    KC-10 FE out...

Ducati sure does make beautiful looking bikes. As a piece of art I love them. Trouble is, my body just can't take riding them. I tried, oh how I tried, but after even a short ride I am in agony. Hence one of the many reasons I like my viffer.

Yep is what I heard, 999 is done with.. something to do with all the hype and regs in racing has em making this baby. Yea I need to ride one before I lay out my hard earned cash. still very tempting and it's going to be at the Seattle MCS here Dec 1st-3rd..

beautiful. i have been disappointed with some of their bikes' looks lately (multistrada, 999) but this one grabs me... unfortunately from what I hear of ducati ergos, I'm afraid of where it would grab me. :)

    An ST3 would be better

I know, the 1098 is a dream bike, but shouldnt we be looking at the ST3?
This is the Ducati answer to the VFR

I rode an 05 and an 06 and wasn't impressed ... it gave me chicken legs in short order (hot). I found the Futura moocho better and of course I bought a VFR ... go figure :) Both the VFR and Futura much smoother and the VFR of course ... silk ... do you think I'm a bit bias? But then again, if I had an extra 15 grand, that 1098 sure looks sweet! and the tri-color ... huuummmm ... break out the check book mamma!
