I just removed the carbs from my bike. Had a heck of a time because the carb boots are no longer soft rubber and one of them is torn. I've looked through the drawings online and find them anywhere. I want to order new ones. Does anyone know the PN and/or where to order them from?

    Thanks in advance.

That link took me to the main drawings page (default - air cleaner). Which drawing should I be looking at?

Try your local dealership! You can actually beat the online guys that way.

All you have to do is ask my friend! Every dealership gives discounts, but not usually to people who are willing to pay retail (and why would they?). I've yet to find an online source that can beat what your dealer can do for you.

I don't know what it is with the stealership around here, but they are tough to deal with! We (the ship I work for) buy lots of car parts from the Honda car store next door and the powerstore won't even work with them to get parts delivered to us! I will try next time I need parts though, to see what they will do for me on price.

Just collected the set of 4 for my 84 VF500 from the dealer. $42 with tax. Put the order in on a Friday and they came in the following Wed.

I was pointed to Apache by my buddy that just graduated from MMI a few weeks ago. He did lots of work on bikes in his garage and always ordered online from these guys whenever he could. The prices are usually 40-60% lower than retail on most everything they sell in the store if you order online. I ordered my parts on Thursday at Noon and had them at my front door on Tuesday afternoon, and saved like $60 over what I would have spent at the dealer.

By the time you pay shipping I bet I can still get just as good of a deal. My understanding is that all dealerships pay the same price to Honda, so that means their cost is equal. Online places normally mark up the cost by 20-25% then charge you inflated shipping and handling fees. A 'good deal' at your local dealership would the 20% over cost - the net result is less than the online place.
