    Greetings Everyone,

Just Purchased a 87 VFR700F2, its in great shape very tight "MMI graduate owned it" !

In process of finding out that every part i need is going too take serious searching skills to replace,

Finding New Cables seems to be tough,,, allthough i found a thousand choke cables " LOL"

If any of you know a Good Place for Parts id sure appreciate a email or message, as most the traditional places just laugh and start telling stories of the good old days

I look forward to reading the forum thoroughly,, Regards to all : Rail

EDIT: Forgot to mention i wanted this bike so bad when it was new but couldnt afford it,,,only took me 23 years to get one ,,,

Funny, but i've seen/owned/ worked on dozens of '86/'87 VFRs--some with mileage as high as 60, 000 and never saw one that needed throttle cables replaced ???

A bike that many years out of production needs careful preservation of the original parts it has.

    Good Luck with her!!
