I just swung by a Honda dealer today and the owner of the place said the same thing (March 1st). When I first asked about the VFR he thought that I was looking for an 07 model. He told me that they are being sold at a "real steal" of a price. He was thinking of ordering 3 for his buisness. Then I asked if I could test ride it (2010 model) when it comes in.... He said sure... "just leave a 16k deposit"....frack!

LOL yea this dealer had 3 vfr800s on the floor all at $7999.00 I also found out there is no 2010 VFR800s in their order catalog. Probably due in part to the over stock of 09s I'm not sold on $7999 being a great deal. FWIW the two on the floor where two red, one silver. not sure if they are 08 or 09s

$17K plus a bunch of other dealer stuff that'll push that closer to 18K if not more?? I'm glad I love my '07 so much! I'm staring hard at the new BMW K1300S, like a boy on his first trip to a Florida beach!

yea,,, then add in the extra $$$$ for hard bags.... what was interesting was when I asked about the paddle shifter model, was they were not going to get one unless some one ordered it, they were thinking it wouldn't be less than $20K
