I can't help but notice all of the backrests are pretty simple, but amazingly expensive. I really like the look of the Corbin round with hole, curved backrest but are they crazy on the price? It's a circle, with a square peice of metal on the bottom, padding and some leather. To me this seems like one could make something like this. Has anyone done this? Or attempted anything like this with either the corbin style or other more plain style? If so I'd appreciate some help with this DIY. Thanks.
