I am in a buying mood and am considering 2 pair of leather overpants. They are---the TourMaster Decker and the Icon Automag. If you have worn either of them would you please tell me your opinions on them? Thank you wilburj
Haven't worn either, but check this link for a good price on the Decker pants (<$180.00). TOUR MASTER DECKER PANT | MotoSport
Yes I saw the price, but Leatherup has them with a 15% discount just about the same price .Look at their site and if you find anything you want type in the promotional code -love- good for 15% until the 15th I have bought a bunch of stuff from leatherup and know that they are excellent, so i will buy from them, but thanks for the heads up wilburj
I have the Automag pants. They are very well made and very heavy. It takes some time to get the knee armor positioned properly to fit your height. The armor is designed to bend over your knees, and it's molded straight, so it gets tight when you sit on the bike. It's easily removable if not needed. It took me at least 5 or 6 rides to get them where they didn't irritate me. I think they will break in some more and become more comfortable over time. There are no pockets on these pants! The belt clasp is a little wimpy, but it works. I don't like the shiny Icon logo, but that's just personal taste. Overall a great product, makes me feel very secure. Edit: I just looked at the Decker pants. Looks like they have the same comfort problem with the knee armor. They have pockets. (+1) They don't have a big shiny logo (+1) They don't have a belt or belt loops (-1) No stretch panels on front of knees or inner thighs (-1) They are cheaper (+1)
