    Hi All:
What's a reasonable price for an 8-spoke rear rim? I found one at a local wrecking yard...$275. Seemed high, but I don't know. What do you think?

I plan on getting the rim powder coated, so that will add another $50.

    Thanks for your input.

    Regards.

$50 is pretty cheap for powder coating, I paid $150 to powdercoat my 8 spoke. $275 is on the high side but in the range of what you can expect. I don't think you'll find one for less than $200 and it might take awhile to find one at that price.

Yeah - powder coating prices ranged from $50 up to $120 per wheel. Found 2 places off Sunrise (North, and South Rancho) that are $50 and $60 respectively. I have to go look at their work and talk to them each to decide. I will see if the price on the 8-spoke I found is negotiable or not...and keep looking if not.

    Thanks.

The 8 spokes seem to be like gold in the VFR community. I you want one You should expect to pay the toll of that.

Let me know what place you find. The $150 place was Powdercraft (uglyjugs.com) in Rocklin. Good work but expensive. I need to find a local good, inexpensive place.
