hi my name is john and i will be picking up my 84 700 interceptor on thursday this week. its in pretty good shape will get pics when i can. was going to get it this past week but had a funeral to go to on the guys only day off. not new to motorcycles. got my first road bike in june of 08. it was an 81 cb750 super sport. repainted it an hit a deer 2 weeks later in sept of 08. couldnt do much of anything until april of the next year. been riding my dads 03 shadow a lot last summer and decided on a coin flip to get a motorcycle over an 86 monte carlo ss. hopefully will have pics posted thursday night.
welcome to the site. I daresay you'll notice a bit of performance increase from the shadow to a VF Interceptor...
my old cb750 would smoke that shadow. bike has absolutely no get up to it. im also used to riding with my feet underneath me and one time i went to put my foot on the pegs and almost ran it over. for some reason im just more comfortable on a sportbike than a cruiser with the exception of the vmax and kawasaki mean streak.
