Went in to the garage for the bi-weekly winter startup and noticed two wires/connectors that I hadn't seen before. They look to be spliced into/coming out of one of the main harnesses under the gauge cluster. Could they be an aux power source added by a previous owner, or maybe a hookup for an external charger? I didn't have time to take things apart and follow the wires anywhere, was hoping someone here might now where they go/what they do.

    thanks in advance

Saw the same on my bike last night as well. I think they are the Brown and Dark Green spare wires that are normal on these bikes.

Thanks guys, I'm happy it's a normal thing. My bike is relatively unmolested, it would bug me if I found out it was Bubba-ed up with hacked-up harnesses/wiring.
