Does anybody know how many exactly were imported?

    Bump.

I'm also curious about numbers for the '83 vf750f. How many blue and red?

TB I can't tell you that. But I got one of the first ones that came to the states. Frame #820, engine # 875. The reason for the spread is because of engines that needed to be tested and emissions. I believe it kind of stayed that way for years of the 55 spread in numbers. I know Joey_Dudes bike has the same spread. I checked it a couple of years ago. Oh buy the way mine was originally red.
