To all, Who has the most reasonable (i.e. cheap) price for a OEM Honda trunk and rack. They are generally expensive, but someone in the VFR World must know. I prefer the color matched unit to a generic GIVI.
I usually recommend comparison shopping between ronayers.com, bikebandit.com and servicehonda.com. Usually between those threee you can find a deal that works for you. I think some of our users have done a good job with getting the generic Givi and painting it to OEm colors, though. It seems like I heard givi made the luggage for honda anyway but I might be mistaken.
Yes the OEM trunks bags and trunk are made by GIVI. It doesn't make sense to buy the GIVI which isn't that cheap anyway and try to paint it. The paint is metal flake which is hard to match and my OCD won't let me anyway. I found a reduced price on one ironically from the dealer I bought the bike from but it's still a $500 ordeal and I am oh so cheap ! Thanks though.
