I have an 84 vf700, im looking for a new set of tires.... what is going to be the best for the rain (south ga so the rain is coming)
I also just ride 25miles each way to work commuting, so something designed for "touring" i guess so they last longer....

    thanks

Don't know how long they last but the Pirelli Sport Demons and Dunlop D616's get good wet reviews.

Your screen name is funny brother.

A buddy of mine who rode his GS500 all over Baltimore had the Lasertecs and he seemed to like them.

I had Lasertec's on my Triumph Thunderbird and they were excellent in the rain. The only thing I did not like is the rear tire wore out around 6K miles. I may have been able to squeeze another thousand miles but when tires get down to 2/32's I get pretty nervous....

I had both the Lasertec's and the Sport Deamons on my old ride, both excellent wet weather tires. Metzler rear even stuck good when I rode with the center bald as hell!!!(yes, I'm a dumbass):spankme:

I have the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT and they work well in the rain and I like them overall for riding in general.
