Corbin Seats in Canada

    I was recently trying to purchase a corbin seat for my fathers bike, and priced from their US site was around $350 plus shipping, unfortunatly they do not ship to canada for whatever reason.
    I then sourced a local supplier and was given the price of $877 plus shipping, obviously rediculous gouging, but shittily the only supplier I can find...

    Anyone know any good places to find these, it's not for a VFR but a VX800... also, anyone ever tried a forwarding adress company?

    I don't know where you are in Canada, but would it be possible to order one through a bike shop just across the border and physically show up to collect it?

    its about a 15 hour drive from where I am to the border.

    No way in hell I'd pay that. I would buy a Sargent cause it weighs less and fits more riders. If you are not gonna go to the corbin factory so they can custom fit you, then it has been my experience (from riding and testing them, ANd from hundreds of messages on here) that Sargent seems to be preferred. I did a seat comparo a while back. If you search sargent vs corbin comparo, it should turn up. If you can't find it, let me know. I'll dig it up... I'm certain we could find you a used seat or something. That price is just crazy.

    I don't think seargent offers a seat for the vx800.
