Have it that I might sell my one and only WP shock, I had it on my 4th gen 97 VFR750, 6500 miles on it, like new, set up for a 180lb rider, it will also come with a set of Race tech .95 fork springs. Question, I am doing this for a feeler perspective as in interests. Thought about this long and hard as this shock is next to impossible to get now-a-days, so wanted to get an idea here if it looks possible. No I'm not teasing, just thinking about it. For those that's in the know, there's no explaining this shock, just as good as an Ohlins. if not better ;) Some here may re call the install thread I had, now where'd it go?

Here's a snap shot of the shock prior to being installed.

Fire off any questions, Thinking $800 for the shock and springs (plus shipping) LOL $1300 new, that's if you can, one, wait for it to be built or maybe it's priceless now? as WP from what I heard with the dollar lack of isn't making it anymore?? anyway wanted to get an idea on it's interest, so don't shoot me for not throwing it up in classifieds, just yet.

Does this mean you aren't going to get another 4th Gen?

    RVFR:

If you arn't getting another 4th gen then sell it for a realistic "priced to move" price.

    $500 to $450.

    My two cents.

That sounds more like it. I'd be interested at that price!

What would it take to set the WP up for a 135 # rider? Spring for sure, but would it have to be revalved?

All good thoughts. as it stands I have a certain ducati in mind since to me the vfr1200 is of no use. There is a chance that another 4th gen would be in the stable, just at this time not sure. I've been really going over a lot of machines figuring out which has as much user friendly sense as the 4th gen, so far the SF Ducati is there, but before any final decision is made I need to ride one more than around the block. but as it stands it has almost what I'm thinking I need at the moment. But that said even after all that I've seen the 4th gen VFR750 is still the one to beat. But dang I newer bike would be nice.. all though ???
As far as price goes LOL I've had offers in the $500 range I have turned down. I know what it is worth to me. So maybe I'll just hang on to it, who knows, it might come in handy.

As far as what it would take for a 135 lb rider, yep just a spring. then you could dial in your own rebound and compression.
