    Hello world!

Just picked up a 5th gen VFR last week.. LOVE IT so far. I have a GPR (V1) stabilizer that I share between stable mates and want to get it on the VFR somehow. GPR discontinued the mount, was wondering if anyone here has a solution for me. I was thinking of just making a mount on the triple out of aluminium or even getting a mount for a different bike and making it fit.

Mandatory pic, and thanks in advance

best bet is search online if you just need a mount
someone has to have one sitting around collecting dust.
there were enough made for someone to still have stock.

I searched and couldn't find any around. I saw a thread on the forums by stoshmonster who used a CBR600RR mount on his 6th gen. Going to try this route, will update when I get the parts and see what I can do.

The top steering stem nut on your 5th gen. VFR800 is the exact same part that's used on the 6th gen. VFR800's and the '03-'04 CBR600RR's Amdek. Your top triple clamp is also very similar in shape to those two bikes as well. I wouldn't be at all surprised if that '03-'04 CBR600RR V1 mounting kit bolted right on to your 5th gen. the same way it did to my 6th. Good Luck with that.

GPR wants 150 for the mount, 30 for the new arm (street is different than dirt) and whatever shipping is. After finding out this, I think i will just get a scotts delivered to my door for another 200$ hehe
