Hello all! I've been a lurker at VFRD and VFRworld for a long time running. I've had a dream of owning an Interceptor for many years, and I finally took the plunge and learned to ride back in early '07, riding a used Ninja 500. I've put close to 10K miles on it, and I finally decided that it was time to upgrade. I had several bikes on my short list, but one was definitely at the top; a 5th Gen VFR. Red. I lucked out and found a guy selling a '98 locally that was in great shape, and just over 11K miles. Already had Heli bars, Two Brothers Slip-on, replaced R/R, new tires (Dunlop Roadsmarts) and polished wheels done professionally. I pulled the trigger without a second thought. I got to spend some time on it the day I rode it home and I'm loving it so far. Problem is it's the middle of winter here in Colorado so not much opportunity for rides until April or May. It's killing me seeing that gorgeous bike sitting in the garage each day. Sigh, my time will come. Anyhow, here's a pic from the 19th when she came home: Plus a few more for y'all: Picassa Album And a quickie YouTube vid of the exhaust note: YouTube Love the forum and looking forward to meeting some of you all for rides. -Brian
