So, the damn mirror mount broke on my 1987 VFR700... does anybody know where to get this mirror? I tried my local parts guys, and they wanted like $200 for a friggin' mirror... haven't tried salvage yards yet... (for clarity's sake, the piece that broke is the like 1.5" metal piece that has the threads stickin out the bottom. I can't weld the forged aluminum, and it doesnt seem to be a removable part of the mirror fixture)
