Hey guys i just bought a 1990 VFR750 for my girlfriend to move up from her cbr125. I was just wondering what things to look at for maintenance checks on a bike this old. Its been retrofitted with F4i fairings and gauge cluster and that is all i know so far other than that is has been stunted. Im just trying to put together a checklist that i can meticulously go over during the winter and fix before spring.

I know it was ridden as early as last year, and has been sitting outside ever since. So i would probably start with a compression test and catch up on all the maintenance thats been neglected...i find you tend to discover alot of things just through a general tune up as i found out on my last project bike. Any input you guys could give would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Could check/replace all fluids (brake/clutch, oil and coolant) and do a rectifier (R/R) test - use search. I like the F4i look!
