what happen ....relay problem?

    VFR 2004, I found this morning when I on the switch to start the engine, there is a noise coming from around the display panel, sound like ... preeeeekkkkkkkk..... like that and I cannot start the engine and the FI light also not lighting and both main light also not lighting... could it be the relay..? how many relay? why? :suspicious::suspicious:

    sounds like your battery is dead. take off the seat and make sure everything is connected and nice and tight. Put a meter on it and see how many volts your battery has. It could be a relay, but I'd bet on the battery first. What year is your VFR? You might have one that is known to have problems with the voltage regulator which would mean your battery is not getting properly recharged. Also, check the age of your battery. I got 3.5 years out of my last one, but I ride a lot, and the last year was probably more than I should have used it for.

    Thanks fren. My VFR2004 model but was only brought to road on 2007... I just changed the relay and I rode home safely and no problem BUT at night the same problem again. Could it be the battery?
