I got back from my weekly trip for work to find that I received a package from streetfigertersbedesign.com (US distributor for Skidmarx). So of course I opened it and the items were packed very well. I had ordered a double bubble windscreen and hugger from for my 91 VFR.

So just a quick write up on the product....

The packaging was good and all items arrived un-damaged.

Upon sorting all the pieces this is that I ended up receiving.

The bag contains instructions, 3 16mm hex head washer bolts, 1 12mm hex head washer bold, and 2 zip ties.

I removed the factory chain guard per the instructions as step 1.

Then it says to install the bracket. Part A goes under the rubber chain guide as seen in these photos...

After getting the bracket in place then you slip in the hugger from the rear, and set it in place.

Install the screw loosely on the front bracket followed by the two on the side.

Don't forget to re-install your chain/sprocket guard that came off when the factory chain guard did.

after playing and a little bending and manipulation of the bracket things were pretty well centered and seemed to be in the right location.

This is the final result, 20 minutes and a cup of coffee later...

I've been working on a re-build since Nov thanks to the board and I keep forgetting photos and to post results so this is really part 6 of the rebuild, up next, VFRness, Airtech fairings, more paint and body work...

Bigger images are in my photo library as well...

    Thanks
    jeff

Yeah, I'd love to see the DB windscreen too. Let us know what you think of the fit/quality.

I'll get some bigger pictures posted up here in a little bit... Don't have them on my laptop..

Also for those of you that have looked at the delkvic exhaust I picked up a 4th Gen Header and can, and put them on the 3rd gen without any problems, other than if you fail to follow directions it takes twice as long... But it sounds good and I do have a video clip with sound that I need to get hosted somplace and I'll put up for viewing also. The only parts that I needed for that conversion was the 4th gen muffler to header coupler and gasket.

And talked to Dutch at Airtech last night, they had a problem with the upper they made me, so they tossed it and made a new one, so those should ship next week and I'll start the build thread on quality, cutting, ect to create the road from race fairings... and as a precursor I'm doing all stock lights, not changing any of those for other products (at this time...).

    Thanks
    Jeff
