I'm looking for someone who has both a baseline dyno, and then a follow-up dyno with only the headers switched out. I have a set of 99 headers for my '07 I was going to have welded up to accomodate a PC5 wideband O2 sensor and then jet-hot coated...but the guy that will be doing my tuning said that the larger piping may give up more low-end than it's worth. I was thinking that losing the cat would more than make up for that...

Anyone have a dyno run to help me out? It would save a LOT of work/money to just pop the autotune wideband unit in the stock headers if the gains aren't worth it...I'd save at least $500 after welding, shipping, coating, etc......any thoughts?

    Howdy,
From everything that I have read, there is no way to get a big hp gain on these bikes. From 06 up, the stock mapping is as good as it gets for the $.
Anyone, please correct me, if I am wrong. Tune all you want, and gain 4 hp and loose 8+ mpg.
