I see tons of great deals on '07 and '08 leftovers (+ CBR1000s) but they are all in the midwest or NYC. Anybody know of any for sale on the West Coast? Am tempted for an Aniversary model. Did they sell em all out over here? Cheers.
Sorry to say just saw one today but in the midwest. Nielsons, Lake Villa IL Vin#.....900606. RWB. Sticker on windshield said $7,299. I'm sure you can do better. I think I saw this same bike on their floor about a year ago. If you want to make that loooong break-in ride I'll pick you up at O'hare In'tl.! We don't get too much snow for about another 3 or 4 weeks!!!
I just picked up an 07 VFR non ABS (candy red) in a crate for $7100.00 ! I know the salesman told me there were two RWB non ABS bikes left for $7500, which is what they priced mine at, but we negotiated down a couple bills. Dealership is Dave Mungenast Powersports in St. Louis. Good luck!
Cheers for the pick up offer! Yeah, I've seen some annies for $7500 and some reds for $6900 but the closest is about 1600 miles away! Maybe next spring when the passes re-open, would hate to get stuck in the Rockies/Sierra's and have to eat my tires! Does anyone know of some good shipping companies? Maybe I could fly in sign the paperwork and have it shipped back?
Another question to ask would be how much to rent a u-haul one way? Maybe that's the better deal. Take a long weekend, fly to where the VFR is, rent the u-haul, and then drive home. Might be cheaper. Something to think about. Also, I found some cheap leftovers off of cycletrader.com. You might want to check there and expand your search to 100+ miles. Might pan out. Good Luck.
Ft. Collins Colorado has an '07 in red (Interstate Honda). Same as rexbaums (except it has the seatcover :biggrin. I saw it today when I went in to buy parts for my '85. I proceeded to scream and run before the checkbook jumped from my coat and got me divorced.
Ha, Seattle area has a few..well I saw 3 in the last month, they may be gone, but doubt it.. yea big discounts on the 1000RR as well in fact most bikes are marked down big time.
Got a new 08 with ABS for $6,833 at Southern Powersports in Chattanooga, TN. Rented a u-haul in Chattanooga for the one way trip home. Ask for Tim at the dealership.
This side of the border 08 VFR's haven't really dropped in price yet. Just checked out an ABS model for $10,600.CAD. And that with the dollar being fairly close to par.

Yes, they don't want people going across the state lines to buy vehicles. Everyone was doing that to circumvent all the emissions BS that Cali has. They'd drive across, buy a new car, and drive right back. TX08... You should have rode her home. There's nothing as sweet and as memorable as the first trip home with your bike.
