Guy’s strictly hypothetical……If you were going to try and hit 200 MPH what do you think would be the best road to do it? I’m talking about in CT or MA. There is a 3 mile section on 91 north around ext 15 that would work but I’m wondering if there is any better?

First thing involved would be getting rid of the stock ECU. They are all electronically limited at 183MPH/300KmH. Right or wrong doesn't matter, you won't get there even if you have a 10 mile stretch.

For sure. Like most of the Suzukis it's a simple matter of adding what they refer to as a TRE (timing retard eliminator) this circumvents the ECU and allows unrestricted power and speed in all gears. Even then I think you'll need more POWER Scotty!

:party2: Well hypothetically I’ve added a Muzzy Bonneville Pro that removes the speed limiter and with all the other mods my baby (ZX14) is pushing 193 HP and 115ft at the wheel…..She can get it done...

I agree. 91 near exit 15 is as good a place as any. Or you could wait until Summer and do your run in Ohio.

Hey Somefun, the new ZX14 is pretty sweet. Given the room, I think she's got quite a bit in her. Since I'd have to be towed by a Veyron to hit that kind of speed, I'm limited to watching only...sooo...hypothetically of course, I'm sure a few of us would be on the sidelines should there ever be a time where she accidentally gets away from you and, again purely accidentally of course, happens to be pinned W.F.O. for a couple miles :flex:

Well Viffer at times I do suffer from wrist cramps and what tends to happen is my right wrist locks up and keeps the throttle pinned…. I love my bike so much and don’t want to hurt her so the best thing I’ve found to do is put a heavy load on the motor say like sixth gear and that way she won’t rev out of control….lol Actually one day heading to a ride on an early morning say to like the Basket Ball Hall of Fame…..this happened and my wrist didn’t let go till I saw 185.... And she had way more left at that time than I did!:whiteflag:

Oh yeah, that's exactly how i remember it too. It really had nothing to do with trying to put a few lenghts on a Blackbird and Ducati. I'm about 5 miles from the BB H of F, and it took you guys about as long as it took me lol

384 going East, when you take the exit wait until it finishes curving and going down the hill. At the bottom it opens to Three and then Four lanes. Most people travel that exit doing 75-80MPH already, and it's a very long straight away. Usually the police run radar on traffic going west (toward Hartford) hypothetically. I've done 150MPH on a Honda Hurricane when I was much younger going east-hypothetically of course. I haven't done more than 110MPH on the VFR yet. It's a long ride from Orange, no?

Total lenght from 84 to Route 6 in Bolton is probably seven miles...mostly straight...stay closer to 84 side as there aren't many places for the police to run radar.
