would guess $3-4K depending on what "immaculate" means and if the bike is ready to ride (fresh tires, fluids etc)

Low miles are a plus. Parts availability is becoming a negative and of course it's 17 year old age is a minus. If it is truly immaculate, including electrical, paint, rust, etc. I would pay no more than $2700. In all likelihood, a little less than that. Perhaps a collector looking for a low mileage example of a great bike would pay slightly more, if one can be found.

are you the original owner? tell the story of the machine...... if it has ony 5000 miles on it.its gonna need carb work.even if the body work is pristine condition its gonna take work to get it running correctly.....you see where I'm going with it?

I would say it is worth around 500. I have 500. Wanna sell it for 500?

Gen 3's are hard to find. I own a nice one. I think that a solid 3k is what a nice one is worth. You pay less for one thats beat, but if you spent more you would buy a newer one. Just my 02.

Ballpark figures can be found on the net on sites that deal with cars and trucks. With 5k on the clock unless the bike has been properly stored, the tires are way past thier prime, All fluids need changing ect. The general consensus on condition seems to be that only 5% of used vehicles fall into the "immaculate" category. Biggest question would be. is the bike running?

.....................soits used regularly. but only has 5000 miles on it ....I use mine .....................irregulary and I have put 3000 miles on it since I have owned it.and it sat for a .....................year and a half after I bought it........

.....................sorry things just don't add up for me.its cool if it was a garage queen and it .....................was maintained and ran every three weeks and such but even "regular" use is .....................gonna add up to more than 5000 miles over the life of the bike......

.....................I can't believe I am gonna say this ..but I agree with Bad billy

some more history of the bike is needed to make a judgement on this one not being an ass but just would like the whole back story

Remove the seat. If this is the bike I think it is, there will be a tag that says" This VFR was made especially for Elvis Presley."

    Hi Charlie
Very difficult to put a value on your bike even if you were local. Prices tend to be lower in the US than some other countries. Even Canada for instance. I can't believe the difference in price for the the same models in the US compared to prices in Candada and our dollar is nearly at par just now. Same with cars. And these differences are reflected in new vehicle prices as well as used. Let alone the UK. I think that you could consider that if you have an average bike you can expect an average price. A special bike will get a special price. I'm certain that you already knew that. The forgoing of course is "rocket science". I think if you find that "EP tag", (not even possible) go to Sothebys. If I had a special bike that I wanted to sell I'd "try" the market to see what it will bear. By the sounds of yours I'd keep it. "They" always say, hang on to that suckker, it'll be worth a fortune one day. Just try to get it. But on the positive note, remember PTB in the US said there was one born every minute. Find him and cut a deal.

A bike with that few "miles" if indeed it is located in other than the US (tyres??) and in pristine shape will have a provenance. Here, a Carfax is used. If indeed this bike exists, with that few miles (KM??) To sell it would require pix, the aforementioned provenance, service records, original sales documents, place of storage and assurance the odometer has not been tampered with if a "classic" price is expected. If this inquiry is for purposes of insurance, then go high on replacement and deductible.

I'd be checking that seat too. I have heard that the made for Elvis sticker can be in Japanese.
