    Hello

I have a 2003 VFR and both my mirrors move at speed, that is, become useless as they are forced back by the wind.

I looked in my Haynes manual but cannot find any reference as to how to adjust them. I am talking about where the body of the mirror joins the stalk from the fairing.

    Any solutions greatly welcomed

    Thanks

i broke mine off and had to get a replacement. when i got the new mirror it had rubber washers that went on each side of the mirror stalk. maybe your mirrors dont have the rubber washers to make them harder to move. just a thought

Get 'em adjusted exactly how you want 'em, then use a single drop (maybe two) of super, crazy, (or the like) glue where the ball meets the stalk. This should keep 'em from blowing back at speed but at the same time break loose easy enough if they were to ever need re-adjustment. As far as tightening them mechanically, I don't think its an option on these ones.
