Hi everybody, I have been reading your site for a while now and I am finally ready to join having just purchased a 2006 VFR 800A in black pearl. It is bone stock at the moment. I have admired these machines since the early 90's, and I finally have the chance to see for myself what the fuss is about. Of course, I will have to wait until spring as we already had a foot of snow on the ground when I took delivery. But after nearly 20 years I think a few more months won't hurt. I know you want pics so I am attaching one even though the garage is not exactly a great photo opp setting. I can't wait to get it out on the road and get some better shots. This is my fourth bike, the first three being a 91 Hawk GT, a 95 CBR600 F3 and a 2008 Ninja 500 that eased me back in after a long hiatus during which I moved from SoCal to Canada for work, got married, had kids, built career, etc. My kids picked Ameribec for me as my screen name because of course I am an American living in Quebec. I look forward to your valuable tips and advice. Most of all I can't wait for Spring!
WELCOME !! Montreal is one of North America's most beautiful cities. Does your wife speak French?? When girls talk French it causes their mouth to move in perfectly enchanting and adorable ways all kissy-like, and i fall in love every time, and it sounds magical too !!
Welcome. So you are Quebecios imposter then. LOL We have a few from Quebec around but they only show up occassionally. You should be the start of a change that way.
Welcome to VFRW. Cool looking machine you have, something sinister about the black that just works on the 6g.
Welcome! I ride a black 06, non-ABS. Love the bike. Wish I could go for a ride but we got our first bit of snow today. We can dream about springtime!
