Oh shit! Almost forgot to add one for the list today, and its almost midnight!
Sorry it was a busy day folks, but the list must go on.

This list of mine goes in no order. I love the fact that all of you have shouted out thanks to eachother, and maybe some of you have lists as well. That said.........

    Doodle.
I know your a family guy...You don't always have the time to be on vfrworld.
But the first time I went out to the sticks to meet you and chris and john, you made me feel right at ease.
Thanks for laughing at all my jokes ( even the stupid ones ).
Everytime there is some party, and I dont know anyone there, you are there to talk to and make me spit beer out my nose with all the funny shit you say.
Thanks for reading most of my posts, and some of my chat posts. ( on here ).
Everytime I get out to the "verta" I am hoping to see you there. Alot of the times you are. Its always better when you are.
You even showed up for my first big ride on my new bike. Remember? Uncle Toms cabin? That was a good time at that bar and I was glad you were there for it...first time riding with all you guys. You're definatly part of the reason I hang out with the :ncp:
I know you aint the sappy type so I doubt you are gonna reply to this, and you don't need to. And I am not trying to get all gay on you, so dont get your hopes up.
    Beers soon, hooker.

No one else had anything nice to say today :(

I started this post at 11:20 and ended it at 12:00 after editng and re editing. Score made it in by the end of the day. Hope I covered everyone in chat, I tried.

At first I was going to not do one today, since no one else has since my last. But I am still going to. Half of the reason I made this wasn't just to encourage others to say something nice, but its therapuetic for me as well.

    So here goes tonights.

Thankx to everyone in the chatroom.
EVERYONE. Even those that are no longer with us.
We have our ups and downs in there, but we all know the ups outwiegh the downs.

[brown nose] thanks to michael for making it, thanks too shorts for running it [/brown nose]

I work a very crappy ass job. I went from making around 80k a year down to making enough that I could get on welfare if I thought I needed to. The new job is torture, anyone that has worked retail... well retail is about = fast food.
However, at least I am lucky that I have the access and time to chat while I am working, or when there is no work. I wouldn't have that at alot of jobs ( like fast food ) so I am still thankful for that, as well.
Not dissing fast food either.Same thing. Same idiots. The same guy that just threw his burger at you while you worked the drive thru window, just threw his cell phone at me. Same assholes out there. And you guys that have better paying jobs have the same asshole's to deal with as well, in your jobs. Whether its your boss, your coworker, some criminal you have to take down, some persons life you have to save even tho he did something stupid, some guy that wants to buy something from you, and clearly has the money, but wants it free, some gov agency impeding you from some permit that you shouldn't need in the first place....the list goes on. And all the things we are powerless to fix even if we could... someone that hasn't enuff money for something that they need, someone that doesn't know what they need, and won't take your proffessional advice. Starving students out there as well. Homemakers just finally getting a break from the kids, people that don't want to work but have to, people that really want to work but there is none out there....
Let me know if I missed anyone. I am sure I did. People from all walks of life in our chatroom, some on other bikes, some on no bike.

Yes, alot of us on chatroom passing the time, but at least we have our ( sometimes dysfunctional ) VFRWORLD family to pass the time with.

Some of us drunker then others.......heheh. ( that was a cheap shot at me )

I know how to go back in and erase chat posts just like a thread post, ( thanks to shorty ) but unless I feel like I offended someone, I dont erase...even if I was being an asshat. I figure that for the most part what happens in chat stays in chat.

Not gonna mention any names on this one. I could but I would easily forget one of you and I don't want to take that risk. You all know who you are.

Ok, done with my something nice for the night. And yeah, I am smiling again.

Say something nice. You don't got to be tough all the time. Bitches.

If you say something nice on here and feel its all too sappy you can always delete it. Doesnt look like anyone is paying attention to this thread this weekend anyways. Hopefully my sappy-nes did'nt scare you all away.

HAHAH that ryhmes with something. Sappy-ness.

Since the day we walked SF and you told me to run and don't look back.I fell in the same "trap" that you did willingly.. my only regret is that we never got to ride together..for this I am a lesser person..Some folks have and they are the chosen fewat least you passed doing what you loved.

This is my list of people...... this is who my holiday memories go out to..

My current family that is here in the present, I love you with all of my heart even though I don't show it all the time ..or it seems like I am distant I am here and I will try to be a better person.....

I am unable to get very deep at the moment, but there are two people that I need to thank for a very selfish reason.

Cundalini and Toe....I have been kind of out of commission for a bit.
I apologize. I have been unable to truly thank you guys for making SuZy X
a reality. Although that beautiful Suzuki is treating Cundalini well right now, I know she is just waiting for me. I go and sit on her in the garage, with all gear like a nerd, start her up, I sit there and go...brum brum brrruummm,
then put her back in first and turn her off.
I owe you guys a lot. I have a motivation now, and I can't wait. Kudos!!!!

When it comes right down to it, I'd like to thank darn near everybody here. My primary reason for joining this forum was to exchange technical information, both bike-specific and general gearhead kind of stuff. It really has been a pleasure to correspond with all of you in a public venue, and to get to know some of you personally. I tend to be pretty private, so this has been a new experience for me; I am grateful for it.

What has also been really fun is the good-natured teasing that goes back and forth. I can't say enough about that.

About the only other thing I can add, off the top of my head, is all of the great information that has been shared by so many of you. From modifications to troubleshooting to places to buy things; it's been great.

Happy Holidays to all! May the coming years treat you kindly.

I can't say thanks to just one. There's too many people on here that deserve thanks.

NCB, Toe, Neck, Crusty, Randy, Shorty, JD, Vfour, Drewl, and so many more that I can't even remember. You all deserve a ton of thanks. You've helped solve numerous issues, helped so many for nothing in return, made the place enjoyable, and made the forum what it is. Without most of you, VFRW wouldn't be what it is today. Thanks everyone.

I gotta say something nice about NorcalBoy.

I was brand new here on VFRW and NCB invited me and SilverSurfer out to his place for a weekend of riding and hanging out. It was my first big moto trip. My first group ride. My first VFRW get together. The whole weekend ROCKED. I got a first class tour of the Bay Area. Good food, good friends, great rides. He even drove us all over to find the best fireworks display I have seen in years.
NCB opened his house to a stranger(it don't get much stranger than me). He waited around for me to catch up(I had only been riding a few months).
That trip will always be in my top ten moto adventures.
It was so cool, we have decided to make it a yearly celebration.

    Thanks, NCB. You rock!

Thank you so much, Drew. I don't really quite know what to say , other than, that was one of the best things I have ever done to surround myself with one of the best people on earth.

I would like to say something nice about our politicians.......................I am drawing a blank..................................They don't all get forced out do they.? Some retire? That is good isn't it?

Thank you and God bless all those great people out there who volunteer their time and effort to help out those who are in need, or less fortunate than ourselves. Especially at this time of the year.

And thank you Viennese, my wife. You gave us the two greatest gifts possible. Shannon and Kyle. When I have these three people in my life, nothing else really matters.

Except of course my VFRWorld family.

Forgot to say thanks to all the people who control this site and those who have accepted me even though I am not on a VFR (yet.....wink wink). Thank you all for your site hospitality, I appreciate it. Usually good to learn before you do. Happy to say I have learned many things just from being here and reading peoples posts and threads. Sorry I have been unable to contribute yet, but I am glad to say I am learning from some of the best.

Hey, Mud GUTS. I had the pleasure of meeting you. I will vouch for your character. That and the company you keep shows you are a quality person. Plus your husband has a VFR so you are as good as gold.

There, I said something nice about Mud Guts!

This is the "say something nice" thread, so I won't say anything at all.

But I will say Long is an awesome host(he bought me dinner on his birthday). He is a good sport(for putting up with us making fun of his English). And he is an all around good guy.

Wow, I have been missing out on so much lately and just saw this thread.

Thank you to all who have specifically thanked me, you guys are all great as well!

I have had the pleasure of meeting many of you in person so far, and the pleasure has been all mine. I've also been able to watch the live cam for some of the gatherings and sure did make me wish I could go!

While I may disagree wholeheartedly with some folks, I enjoy everyone here very much. This coming year I hope to add more of you to the list that I have physically met.
