I notice in your post that you have mirror extenders. I find that I have trouble with getting a good angle on my mirrors. Where did you get the extenders? How well do they work?

    17,754 miles as of today (same as October 30th, 2007 - the last ride I had... ).

That's ~1,479 miles a year. I purchased the bike on April 24, 2007 with 15,050 miles. So at least I'm beating the average!!!

I plan on owning and riding this bike forever.

Well, the weather here finally has let up so I got 'er on the road during the weekend and I plan to rack up as many miles as possible this season!!!!!
Anythig less than 10,000 clikcs will be un-acceptable!

P.S. This is the first time I have had it out since gutting the pipes and man,it sounds good....sounds pissed-off and mean when cruising around town especially when down-shifting...at cruising speeds it sounds un-obtrusive and mellow.
Cant tell if it's got more power as it has been almost 6 months since my last ride.

    Happy riding everybody!!!

My 94 VFR750 has 52,000 on it. I bought it in '04 with 32k on it from a friend of mine who wanted it gone NOW!! He had tried to sell it a few times on CL and had no offers or calls and was needing the room in the garage for a Porsche race car.

I paid $500 for it per his initial offer. Flawless. TBR high mount pipe, RKA saddlebags, tinted shield, half tank bra, cowl, corbin, bike cover, throttlemeisters...he was the original owner. I have added nothing to it except tires, pads, oil & filter since then. Out of all the bikes I have/have owned, this bike is by far the easiest/cheapest to own. I turn the key, it runs. No drama, no issues, nothing. Typical Honda. Love it. Have not had problem #1 on this thing, where my other bikes have, from time to time, been a giant PITA to own.

I commute by bike here in CA 50-51 weeks per year, between 50 and 125 miles per day, but I spread it amongst 4 bikes. Pretty much once a month or so something needs an oil/filter change, and it seems I always have UPS dropping off tires here, and there's always a chain that needs lubed, or sprockets that need swapped, or pads that need to be changed, or something.

I remember chatting with a few bike messengers in London with the same model who have over 125k on their bikes, same engine. There's a guy/lister near me in So Cal that has a 94 version with 104,000 on his last I heard. He does over 100 miles per day as well, IIRC.

well, I'm over 70000 and almost back to running condition to add some more miles to this total... at this rate, I should make 100000 in a couple years I think...

Just shy of 7k on my 2006. I got it in January 09 with 2k on the clock. Though I was splitting my time between the VFR and the SV. Now that the SV is gone, I forsee many many more miles on the Honda. :)
