Today's your lucky day.... All you need to do with your gps is take it with you, and ride down any road that looks like fun and isn't a dead end. It's a lot more fun when you don't have to remember how to get back. Once you've ridden half the distance you want to ride that day, then turn on your gps and hit the home botton.... That's it.... you can learn the rest as time (the days) goes by.... One thing though before you ride off.... learn how to put your home address in it........ That's the most fun I've had doing it that way.... Another thing is you don't have to plot a route while you're riding to be able to see the map.... Warning.... Watch the road.... I wish I had a gps when I was living there(Midlands, just north of Cambridge)1968-72....

PLOD - slang for Police as in walking slowly (to plod) when on the beat

NUMPTY - (to quote the beer mat on my desk) "A bumbling fool who is intellectually challenged"

North Wales - a sub set of England if really want to piss the Welsh off but really a country in its own right

    PS

Welcome Dave - North Wales is a bit too far away for me - I have to make do with the Pennines

PENNINES - A collection of large hillocks running down the middle of England.

Just crazy glue the pix to your monitor and hit the enter key. If you want others to see them, you have to put them face to the screen.

That works. Great shot. And you did a great job of posting it. No glue lines. Love your countryside. Mine is covered with tin barns and stinking rotting Brussel Sprouts.

    Welcome!

I have only flown through England on my way to Scotland. Loved Scotland.

I like that bike. In that first pic it looks like there is another like it parked right behind yours. True?
