Don't know the guy @ all, but just talked to him about it. Looks clean. Near Sea World in San Diego, CA. Says he's the 2nd owner and it's a daily rider and runs strong.

    The seller is nuts.
#1, that bike is no where NEAR "%100 stock" (unless the '84 came with the full fairing and silver muffler. I haven't seen an '84)
    #2, it's about $700-$1k overpriced.

yea, it's overpriced even in mint condition. I won't hold it against him for having the full fairing on it instead of the lower scoop. I'm beginning to think the full fairing was a little more common in CA. I think the slippons look nice too but it wouldn't qualify as 100% stock in my book either. Maybe 98%

I asked about the fairing when I talked to him. He says the original owner bought it with the bike new. He did not have the lower chin fairing. So to him, maybe he thinks since it came with the bike when the OE got it, it's "stock." Just a thought...

Personally I always thought that particular lower = a Canuck bike. He says no.

Silver cans? Those didn't stick out to me. Not stock on the 84? Maybe they've been polished. I didn't know, so I didn't ask.

Yeah, as soon as I saw that lower I though of yours....even on an 85 version it still looks compatible color-wise.

Easy. Signals are from L-P. Go to any dealer and look @ their L-P book. $22 or so.

    Next question.
