Does anybody know if I can get a new VIN/Data sticker (the one on the side of the frame?) for my '99? Maybe if I just bring the title and Registration into a Honda dealer with the bike? Mine's pretty scratched up. Can't read all the numbers on it.

I dont know if you can get a duplicate but I do know that you do not need that sticker on your bike if you want to remove it because your vin# is stamped on the steering head of the frame.

I wouldnt worry about that plate....on my KLR650 it was just a sticker, I had to remove it to fit on some engine guards, as stated above, your vin is stamped into the frame.

Thanks. I didn't know if the VIN was stamped on the frame someplace where it could easily be found. I see it now so I will be taking that sticker off!
